Vaporware has a nostalgia for the past perspective of the future. It is looking forward to and yearning for the prosperity of the past, or a utopian future that never came.

All things seem to be irrevocably heading towards the end of falling, but they become art at the end. I think it reflects a romantic fascination of “human falling”.
