THE CUBES

The skyscrapers in Chicago captivate me. They appear so lightweight, as if they could merge into the sky. Mies van der Rohe's theory of homogeneous structures suggests that grids can visually lighten the weight of objects. This inspires me to explore whether transparent cubes can assist three-dimensional objects in visually returning to the two-dimensional world of lines.
