Multi-Sensory
Interior Presentation Kit
This project was developed for Shanghai Jiyan Interior Design Co., LTD as a tactile and visual communication system to present four of its signature interior design cases. The design approach emphasizes multi-sensory storytelling—translating each space’s architectural language into tangible, material-driven narratives that reflect the essence of the space.

1. KITCHEN CONCISE
A modern Hunan restaurant infused with tea culture. The interior integrates raw concrete with imprinted wood grain textures, balancing the building’s rough surfaces with natural elements like tea and river imagery. The brochure features coarse gray cardstock with woodgrain printing to reflect the project’s minimalist and nature-inspired design philosophy.

2. HOUZHEN Japanese Barbecue
This Japanese barbecue restaurant centers around a circular dining layout within an irregular site. Key design elements include noren curtains and torii gates, evoking a theatrical dining experience. The tactile insert uses linen-textured paper with printed branding to mimic the softness and cultural symbolism of traditional fabric dividers.

3. MA JI YONG Lanzhou Noodle House
Paying homage to Lanzhou and the Yellow River, the interior design uses rammed earth to recreate the texture of river stones. The brochure includes sandpaper as a tactile sample, capturing the rugged materiality and grounding aesthetic of this regionally inspired space.

4. GUO QI Street Food Hub
A lively neighborhood food court composed of repurposed materials, ping pong tables, and woven baskets—reflecting an everyday, street-food culture. The brochure uses specialty cardstock with embossed basket-weave patterns to echo the handcrafted, communal atmosphere of the space.
